Frequently Asked Questions

Question:
What is the difference between N1 and N2 material?

Answer:

Some of our supports come in a choice of two different materials. The difference is in the lining of the support; the N1 or “nylon one” material has what we call “bare neoprene rubber” on the inside. This material has a very rubbery texture and offers a fair amount of resistance against the skin. This is helpful if you are a professional athlete or very active person and don’t want to have to adjust the support during game time or a good run; however it can be difficult to apply so we recommend you read and follow all application instructions and use talcum powder to slide the support into place.

The second choice is the N2 or “nylon two” material; this material is lined with a soft nylon cover that is the same texture as the outside of the neoprene support. This makes the support ideal for every day use and easier to apply.

Question:

How do I apply my new support?

Answer:

For ease of application and to insure the Durability of the basic N1 sleeves that have no hinges or stays we have found it best to instruct the user to…

  • Turn Sleeve wrong side (rubber) out.
  • Put on the smaller end first and stop at the approximate area it will be worn.
  • Now grasp the Larger End and pull it up over the smaller End. Rubber surface is now NEXT to the skin and the Sleeve in approximate wearing position.
  • Talcum, cornstarch of baking soda should be used liberally when applying and wearing the Sleeves. The Sleeve can be worn with the rubber side out if so desired.

For N2 sleeves you will follow the same instructions, but there is no "rubber" so use the logo that is on the outside to determine wrong side out. (IE: Turn sleeve wrong side out (with logo in).
